An innovative center positioning tool used in mechanical machining, suitable for both fixed centers (dead centers) and rotating centers (live centers). It is not only a tool but also functions as a cutting tool, making it a perfect combination of both. Although it belongs to the dead center category, the high-stress positioning universal center possesses the functionalities of both fixed and rotating centers, enabling high-precision center positioning for heavy-duty rough machining, high-speed machining, fine machining, and ultra-fine machining.
This product offers the following notable advantages:
“Four Self” Features: Self-correction, self-lubrication, self-cleaning, and self-compensation, allowing the tool to maintain optimal performance during use and reducing maintenance needs.
“Four Fixes” Positioning: High-stress positioning, ultra-high rigidity positioning, gap-free positioning, and vibration-free positioning, ensuring stability and precision during the machining process.
High Durability and Safety: It significantly reduces the stringent usage conditions, making the tool safer and more reliable, with excellent durability and a long service life.

This tool successfully addresses the following four major technical challenges:
High Positioning Accuracy: In terms of radial runout for workpieces at the tailstock end of the lathe, rough turning can achieve 10ᄉm, and finish turning can achieve 2ᄉm. On a conventional cylindrical grinder, without the need for center hole correction or cleaning, the radial runout of rigid parts after fine grinding can be controlled to less than 1ᄉm, while also significantly improving surface roughness.
High Reliability: By eliminating dozens of human and non-human influencing factors, only the axial positioning force needs to be controlled to achieve highly reliable radial runout and roundness.
High Repeatability: It has the ability to correct the coaxiality of the center hole, with the coaxiality of rigid parts after repeated machining being less than 1ᄉm.
High Productivity: Compared to medium-sized live centers, the radial cutting force can be increased by 0.6 to 12 times, with higher allowable speeds. It eliminates the need for all center hole correction processes and can bypass 1 to 9 operations such as semi-finish turning, finish turning, rough grinding, or semi-finish grinding, thereby increasing production efficiency by 1 to 10 times.
